HR Generalist

Brigid Barkley is the Human Resource Generalist at the Queens Museum, responsible for leading all aspects of HR including recruitment, hiring and onboarding procedures, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, training, managing the HR Information System system and employer compliance. She is an accomplished HR leader with over 25 years of professional experience in non-profit cultural institutions and business-sector organizations, including her most recent role as Director of Human Resources at the Bronx Children’s Museum where contributed to the opening of the first Children’s Museum in the Bronx managing all areas of People, Organizational Culture, and HR. Prior to this role, Brigid worked in progressive HR roles in the publishing industry and at Barnes and Noble. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Siena College.
