Reclamando Nuestres Voces / Reclaiming Our Voices is a one-day celebration featuring art created by survivors of gender-based violence. Organized in collaboration with Violence Intervention Program (VIP), this program is the culmination of a workshop series designed by VIP’s Sexual Violence Project to support immigrant survivors through arts-based healing. Please join us for an incredible day of art, activities and joy!

Reclamando Nuestres Voces / Claiming Our Voices will feature:

• Powerful expressions of healing across diverse mediums, including digital storytelling, visual art, and the written word
• Survivors of gender-based violence selling hand-made crafts, jewelry and clothing
• A collaborative project with the artist and illustrator Luis De Leon
• An interactive installation of messages to unlearn cultural norms that perpetuate gender-based violence
