Join us on Friday, March 15, from 6 to 8 PM, for the Teen Arts Mixer at Queens Museum, hosted by the 2023-2024 Queens Teens Institute Leadership Cohort. The theme is: Enchanted Spring Homecoming. Walk down our red carpet for an evening of 90’s Homecoming nostalgia with music, dance, snacks, art-making workshops, a photo booth, and exclusive museum tours led by teens, showcasing the current exhibitions. Whether you’re passionate about art, love to dance, or just want to have a great time with friends, wear your Homecoming best of 90’s inspired fits to the 2024 Teens Mixer at the Queens Museum.

The event is free and open to teens ages 15+. RSVP is required and Highschool ID is required for entry.

• Music & Karaoke: Groove to the beats and vibe with your friends as we curate an awesome playlist that will set the perfect tone for the evening. We will also end the night with an hour of karaoke!

• Dance: Let loose on the dance floor and show off your best moves! Our Teens Mixer is all about celebrating the joy self-expression.

• Snacks: Indulge your taste buds with a variety of 90’s inspired delicious snacks that will keep you energized throughout the event.

• Art Making & Games: Unleash your creativity in our dedicated art-making area. Get hands-on with various artistic activities and express yourself through the power of art. We’ll also have Giant Jenga on deck, cards, and a temporary tattoo station!

• Museum Tours for Teens, by Teens: Embark on a unique exploration of the Queens Museum’s current exhibitions, guided by fellow teens who will offer fresh perspectives and insights.
