M.A.Y.O.

12.02.17, 3:00 pm

What is MAYO? Art making! Friends! And, a safe place to be yourself.

Join us for an open studio for LGBTQ youth, friends and allies on Saturdays! This open studio is designed and hosted by a planning committee of youth from our Queens Teens program!

At MAYO We:
• Provide art supplies for use while in studio
• Offer a free art making space for local youth
• Do not require RSVP
• Will have snacks to share

See our December MAYO Open Studios below! Come to one or come to both!

December 2:
Recyclable Fashion. Fabric and thrift clothing provided for you to alter and change. We will also look at some techniques for incorporating nature and recyclable plastics into fashion.

December 9:
Photo Fabulous. Bring all your art and your best winter style to a photo shoot hosted by our Queens Teens.

*At 5:00PM the museum closes to the public. Please use the West side entrance by the high way to enter and leave*
