In celebration of the lunar new year, we will be creating paper lanterns during this workshop. All families are welcome to make these beautiful designs.

After the workshop, check out the annual Lunar New Year Festival for Families at the Museum hosted by the New York Chinese Cultural Center.

Storytelling

Come and listen to stories about the lunar new year and lanterns. Ages 4 and up.

Story-telling segments occur at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

All workshops are free and open to the public. No need to register.
