Call to all of the people from our neighborhood! IMI Corona, the Museum’s offsite storefront immigrant arts and activism center, invites you to discuss, think, and plan how we can work together to create the change we want in our schools. During the past month of March, IMI Corona’s Community Council has visited various workshops at IMI to discuss and hear about our different experiences and concercns related to education and schools in our communities. Now we want to invite more members from our community to also share their experiences and create next steps that will help us build justice in our schools. Share your experiences! Join our fight! We are all necessary!

We will provide English – Spanish Interpretation.

2:30 – 3pm – Introduction by IMI Corona Community Council & Historians-in-Residence Julian de Mayo and Luis Gallo

3 – 4pm – Small Group Discussion on Education
