Mayisha Hassan is the Collections Assistant at the Queens Museum. She works closely with the Assistant Director of Collections and Archives to care for and to organize the expansive archives at the Museum. She also assists with research requests about the 1939 and 1964 World’s Fairs, administration and registration tasks, and supports the Exhibitions and Programs team during exhibition turnovers. Prior to this role, Mayisha was a Museum Experience Ambassador. During that time, she appreciated the vast information that was available in the archives and wanted to help visitors learn about the history of the World’s Fair and the Queens Museum, which would later land her in her current role.
