Massimo Avanzato facilitates the exchange between the viewer and the artwork as a Museum Experience Ambassador. Originally from Upstate, New York, Queens has provided Massimo with both a space of living and creating since 2018. Identifying as both a singer-songwriter and a photo/video artist, his work explores topics of queerness, intimacy, and emotional documentation. Massimo earned his BFA in Photography & Related Media from The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) with a minor in English Writing. During his studies, Massimo worked as the Student Assistant for the Exhibitions Department at the Museum at FIT.
