Lior Modan is the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects at the Queens Museum and a practicing artist. He has been with the Museum since 2014. Lior and his team maintain the historical building and the Panorama of the City of New York. He oversees security, information technology, safety, and film productions, working towards lowering the museum’s carbon footprint and making it a safe place for all. Lior received his MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and has taught and lectured at Columbia University, New York University, Museum of Arts and Design, and Shenkar University. He has exhibited his work internationally and widely throughout the United States.
