A woman with olive skin and long straight dark hair stands in quarter profile, smiling at the camera, wearing a dark purple sweater and skirt with a flower pattern. In the background is the Queens Museum Atrium and large hanging chandelier.

Laura Sloan joined the Queens Museum in 2021 with over 10 years of experience in Arts Education and Accessibility at cultural institutions across New York City, most recently at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the Rubin Museum of Art. Her role as Education Manager will focus on School, Family, and Access programs, welcoming visitors to the Queens Museum and managing offsite programs and residencies. Laura completed her M.A. in Museum Studies from The City College of New York, and is interested in ways that museums can be inclusive, engaging, and restorative spaces.
