Kimaada Le Gendre is the Chief Learning Officer and Director of the Suna Children’s Museum at the Queens Museum, where she leads the strategy and development of innovative learning experiences rooted in equity, accessibility, and culturally sustaining pedagogy. She oversees education, public programs, and community engagement, shaping how one of New York City’s most diverse cultural institutions connects with its audiences. A key leader in the creation of the Suna Children’s Museum, Kimaada is reimagining children’s museum spaces through inclusive, play-based, and community-centered approaches that reflect the communities they serve.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Hunter College and a Master’s in Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law School, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership & Organizational Innovation at Marymount University.
