Isa López joined the Queens Museum in 2025 as an Administrative Assistant for the Curatorial team. They are responsible for the development and delivery of curatorial and administrative tasks such as exhibition research and planning, public programs, managing correspondence, editing exhibition related materials, and more. Prior to working at the Queens Museum, they managed artist Melissa Joseph’s studio and assisted curator Kiara Cristina Ventura on her exhibition Tropical Frequencies, exhibited at the Arts Center at Governors Island.

Isa has held positions across a number of arts institutions including Deli Gallery, kurimanzutto, and Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros. They earned their BA in Art History from CUNY Hunter College concentrating on Latin American Modern and Contemporary Art. They have an active zine and video screening practice that explores the parallels between state-sanctioned disappearances in Colombia and the United States. Isa is born and raised in Jackson Heights Queens, where they still live.
