As a Museum Experience Ambassador, Erica-Ashley Gittens welcomes visitors to the Museum and engages people in conversation, providing information on the artists and works on view. Her previous work involved connecting with people while working on a campaign, as well as as a visitor service staff at a Museum. She also volunteers with the non-profit Brooklyn Community Kitchen as a treasurer and board member, distributing goods to the community. Erica-Ashley loves museums because they provide an opportunity to have conversations, learn, educate and be educated on important issues and histories. She has a B.A. in Political Science and History.
