As Exhibition Production Manager, Brian Balderston is primarily responsible for collaborating with curators, artists and outside vendors during every phase of exhibition planning, from conception to completion. Prior to his work at Queens Museum, Brian founded several artist-run collectives and galleries including Space 4, Decatur Blue, B&AB and Present Company. Through these endeavours, spanning 20 plus years, Balderston has exhibited his own work, curated exhibitions and created experiences featuring a broad range of artists, musicians and performers. Brian studied Philosophy and Fine Art as an undergraduate and holds an MFA in New Genres from San Francisco Art Institute.
