IMI Corona invites you to an afternoon of solidarity, knowledge and power! The Window Project is born out of an investigative process with the intention to inform the Corona community about what is going on with police brutality.

This is the second of six installations, honoring the lives of victims of police brutality in Black and Latino communities with the goal to build solidarity and challenge racism. The event will begin with a Cop Watch training followed by a conversation about the Window Project and will conclude with letter writing to incarcerated LGBTQ people.

We believe that these two are active ways that as immigrants in Corona we can be in solidarity with some of the most impacted communities by police violence and the prison system. Join us!

IMI Corona les invita a una tarde de solidaridad, conocimiento y poder! El Proyecto de la Ventana nace de un proceso investigativo con la intención de informar a la comunidad de Corona sobre lo que está pasando con la brutalidad policiaca.

Esta es la segunda de 6 instalaciones honrando las vidas de víctimas de la brutalidad policiaca en las comunidades Negras y Latinas con la meta de construir solidaridad y retar el racismo. El evento va a comenzar con un entrenamiento de vigilancia a la policía, seguido por una conversación sobre el proyecto de la ventana y concluirá con escribir cartas a personas LGBTQ en prisión.

Nosotrxs creemos que esta son maneras activas que como inmigrantes en Corona podemos estar en solidaridad con algunas de las comunidades más impactadas por la violencia policiaca y el sistema carcelario. ¡Únete!
