Please join us for an opening celebration of the Queens Museum’s Spring 2024 exhibitions:

The afternoon celebration will include artist led exhibition walkthroughs, a reception, and drop-in family art making as part of May’s Family Day.

  • 1-4pm: Drop-in family art making workshops led by a teaching artist and the Queens Teens Institute for Art & Social Justice as part of Family Day

 

  • 2pm: Our first and last love walkthrough with Lyle Ashton Harris

 

  • 2:30pm: Close to Home walkthrough with Nsenga Knight

 

  • 3pm: Buenos Vecinos walkthrough with Catalina Schliebener Muñoz

 

  • 3:30pm: 9999 walkthrough with Cameron A. Granger

 

  • 4-5pm: Reception with food and drinks for purchase in the Unisphere Cafe by The August Tree
