Through workshops and public programs, parents, guardians and caregivers will take part in exploring sensory play, education, psychology, and design. Participants can build with mud, paint with bubbles, among many other activities!

This is the first of two events in 2018, and designed in partnership with the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona Park and the FMCP Community Advisory Board with support from Council Member Julissa Ferreras-Copeland and NYC Parks. These public programs will be centered on the Playground for All Children (the first NYC playground designed with accessibility for all children) in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Learning and play will be considered within a physical space designed for people with diverse abilities. Spanish language support will be provided, with additional languages supported as needed.  Activities sponsored by Queens Zoo, City Nature Challenge, and NYC Parks & Recreation.
