Le invitamos a un evento comunitario de poesía

Ubicacion: IMI Corona, 108-59 Roosevelt Avenue, Corona NY 11368, acerca la parada de Calle 111 en el tren 7

Acompáñanos en una tarde fraternal de poesía. Tendremos un “open mic” y el lanzamiento oficial de la publicación En un Mar de Memorias creado como parte del taller Historias de Vida: Memoria y Poesía. Ven para escuchar nuestras historias y compartir las tuyas. Esta será una celebración estilo potluck, entonces te pedimos que traigas algo pequeño para compartir. Te esperamos este Sabado de 12–3pm.

Nota de accesibilidad
• Niñ@s bienvenid@s en el area de juegos, mas NO habrá cuidado de niñ@s.
• Hay 5 escalones pequeños en la entrada de la calle, con una puerta amplia. Adentro el piso es plano.
• Pedimos cooperación para crear zona de fragancias reducidas para hacerlo bienvenido a personas sensibles/con alergia a fragancias artificiales (ej: por favor no use perfume)

We invite you to a poetry family event

Location: IMI Corona, 108-59 Roosevelt Ave, near the 111th St. stop on the 7 train

Join us for an afternoon of poetry! We will have an open mic and the official launch of our publication In a Sea of Memories created as part of the workshop series Stories of Life: Memory and Poetry. Come listen to our stories and share your own! This will be a potluck style celebration so we ask that you bring a small food item to share. We hope to see you this Saturday from 12–3pm.

Accessibility note
• Children are welcome to play in the game area, but there will NOT be childcare.
• There are 5 steps at the entrance from the street, and a wide door. Inside, there are no steps.
• We ask for cooperation to create a scent-reduced space, so to make it welcoming for people with fragrance sensitivities/allergies (ex: Please do not use perfume)
