Memoirs of the Diaspora is a cultural & art expo to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the Haiti, 2010 earthquake. Through artistic, dance and poetic performances, the events aim is to unite community and share Haiti’s rich cultural heritage in remembrance of the tragic day that cost over 200,000 lives.

4-5pm- Music performance by Harmonik: Unplugged
5-6pm- Dance by Agathina Nozy, Poetry, Presentation of Visual Artists
6-6:30- Musical performance by Monvelyno Alexis

Through well developed and executed events in music, art, and education, the New York Haitian Promoter’s Coalition seeks to encourage and develop well structured programs that will advance the general public’s knowledge of Haitian culture and people. By consolidating the physical and economic prowess and resources of its members, NYHPC ‘s mission is to create an environment that will foster shared governance, integrity, accountability, which will enable NYHPC members to reach their event goals in the areas of customer satisfaction, finance, logistics and production.
