Shortlisted for the 2017 Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary, The Witness follows Bill Genovese, brother of Kitty Genovese, as he investigates the circumstances of her infamous murder, and the truth behind the story claiming that dozens of locals witnessed the crime and did nothing to intervene. Screening followed by Q&A with Director James Solomon.
