The Festival of Lights is a multicultural, worldwide event. To celebrate, families are invited to create a lamp out of paper.

Storytelling

Come and listen to stories about the exciting festival of lights. Ages 4 and up.

Story-telling segments occur at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.

After you are finished at the workshop, stop by the Diwali Celebration at the Museum hosted by the Hindu Temple Flushing.

All workshops are free and open to the public. No need to register.

El Festival de Luces es un evento multicultural que se celebra alrededor del mundo. Como celebración, usted y su familia están invitados a crear una linterna funcional usando papel y materiales accesibles.

Cuenta Cuentos

Leeremos cuentos acerca del festival de luces, lámparas y linternas. Para niños de 4 años en adelante.  

Los segmentos de Cuenta-Cuentos ocurren a la 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM y 3:30 PM.

Después del taller, visite la celebración del festival Diwali en el Museo de Queens, traído a ustedes por el Templo Hindú de Flushing.

Todos los talleres de arte son gratis y abiertos al público, no necesita registración previa.
