Made of Pieces: Join us for a family workshop to turn broken dishes into a unique mosaic that reflects your family’s memory and identity. Drop-in participants can decorate smaller pieces with paint or collage. Bring your discarded dishes and create a family heirloom, one piece at a time.

Somos Puentes: is an installation that emulates a bridge, holding messages collected over the past two years during the Women’s Strike Fest organized by the Undocumented Women’s Fund, inviting participants to become part of this living archive by reading past messages and contributing their own, creating a shared space where voices meet across time and form a bridge between experiences, memories, and futures.

Raise your voice poster station: Participants can contribute to an ongoing installation by creating posters that celebrate the strength and courage of women, using multimedia materials to share what matters to them and their hopes for the future, showing that every voice can make a difference.

Six-Word Poem: We all have stories to tell! What’s yours? Drop by and write a poem about your life using only six words…it might be funny or poignant, inspiring or plain, simple or grand. You can make as many as you want!

Thumbprint Portraits: Create a “thumbprint portrait” of your inner artist!  The thumbprint portraits will be assembled together to showcase the diversity of us, and how we express ourselves creatively.

Día Familiar de Arte y Voces: Construyendo Juntes

Tu voz nos importa ,ven a explorar estas estaciones de arte y sé parte de esta experiencia colectiva. 

Hecho de Piezas: Únete a un taller familiar para transformar vajilla rota en un mosaico único que refleje la memoria e identidad de tu familia. Los participantes que lleguen pueden decorar piezas más pequeñas con pintura o collage. Trae tu vajilla descartada y crea un recuerdo familiar, pieza por pieza.

Somos Puentes: Es una instalación que emula un puente, sosteniendo mensajes recopilados durante los últimos dos años en el Women’s Strike Fest, organizado por el Fondo de Mujeres Indocumentadas. Invita a los participantes a ser parte de este archivo vivo leyendo mensajes anteriores y contribuyendo con los suyos, creando un espacio compartido donde las voces se encuentran a través del tiempo y forman un puente entre experiencias, memorias y futuros.

Estación de Carteles “Alza tu Voz”: Los participantes pueden contribuir a una instalación en curso creando carteles que celebren la fuerza y el coraje de las mujeres, utilizando materiales multimedia para compartir lo que es importante para ellos y sus esperanzas para el futuro, demostrando que cada voz puede marcar la diferencia.

Poema de Seis Palabras: ¡Todos tenemos historias que contar! ¿Cuál es la tuya? Pasa y escribe un poema sobre tu vida usando solo seis palabras… puede ser divertido o conmovedor, inspirador o sencillo, simple o grandioso. ¡Puedes crear tantos como quieras!

Retratos con Huella Digital: ¡Crea un “retrato con tu huella digital” de tu artista interior! Los retratos se unirán para mostrar nuestra diversidad y cómo cada uno de nosotros se expresa de manera creativa.
