Event - Creative Spectrum Art Social

Creative Spectrum Art Social

01.22.17, 10:00 am

Collaborative mural project developed by facilitator Jacquie Moore

Join us for a free Creative Spectrum Art Social on select Sundays. Engage in a creative project where families can enjoy making hands-on art projects together! This program is designed for families affected by autism, especially children ages 5-13.

The goal of this workshop, facilitated by Jacqueline Moore, is to provide a creative space for children with disabilities, where they can explore a variety of creative outlets of expression. Through collaborative artmaking, we will challenge kids with opportunities to socialize and think in new, creative ways. Creating projects with a multi-modal approach helps to build visualization skills, creativity and thinking within a social context.

Jacqueline Moore is a parent of a child with special needs and has her Masters in Creative Arts Therapy.

To register for workshops or to request more information, please contact Jacquie Moore at jax@jaxbydesign.com. Registration is required.
