Join us at Corona Plaza for Corónate, our monthly cultural festival that celebrates the best of Corona and Queens. In this edition, we will highlight Caribbean culture.

Bring your entire family to enjoy painting and photography exhibitions, live music, dance, and theatrical performances, art-making workshops, and the opportunity to learn more about your community.

1-5 pm  Family activities including:

• Piñatas of Caribbean flags and symbols of identities 
• “What does it mean to be from Guadeloupe?” Photo exhibition by Cedrick Isham. 
• Facepainting

2-3pm  Dance and fitness with Rufina Cortéz

5-6pm  Performance by Yasser Tejeda and Palotre
A Dominican roots fusion group that blends traditional music from Dominican Republic with jazz, rock and Caribbean rhythms.
