Celebrating Holi, the Spring Festival of Colors CANCELLED

03.15.20, 2:00 pm

As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve, we are taking every necessary step to protect the health of our staff and visitors. At this point in time, we have decided to temporarily close the Queens Museum until further notice. This decision has been made to support regional and national efforts limiting the spread of COVID-19. We encourage you to check our website and social media channels for regular updates, and look forward to welcoming you back to the Queens Museum in due course.

All families and friends are invited to join us on Sunday March 15th, as we celebrate Holi at the Queens Museum. This colorful event is presented by the Hindu Temple Society of North America, Flushing, NY.  Holi marks the onset of Spring when the re-generation of Mother Earth takes place. As the Earth fills the environment with the vibrant colors of flowers and greenery, so does Holi.

Come and enjoy multicultural folk dances and music. Performers from different nationalities and cultures will come together to express their joy of the changing season and their gratitude to Mother Earth for her bounty. This colorful event, which will be a feast for the eyes, ears and mind, is sure to put everyone in the spirit of spring and friendship.

Free and Open to all!

Traditional sweets and drinks are distributed to take home at the end of the program. For Further Information Please Contact the Temple at (718) 460-8484 ext 112.
