About the Founder
Charlecia Joy is an artist, art educator, and Founder/CEO of Stapledon Arts, a company transforming creativity by offering inclusive art supplies. Her work reflects her Caribbean-American roots and dedication to empowering marginalized voices through art. With a BFA in Theater Production (Scenic Design) from the University of Florida and an MA in Art and Art Education from Columbia University, Teachers College, Joy is committed to shaping young minds and fostering creativity in communities of color. Stapledon Arts is more than a business—it’s a platform for authentic artistic expression and inclusivity, bridging the gap between creative barriers and true expression.
