We are thrilled to welcome back Street Lab’s Art Lab in the Park, a series of open-air creativity sessions operating bi-weekly from June to August on the following dates: June 1; June 15; July 6; July 20; August 3; and August 17.

Setting up on the museum lawn in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Art Lab in the Park will offer creative activities and play time for the children of families visiting the La Jornada and Queens Museum Cultural Food Pantry. Ideal for kids ranging from 3 – 12 years old, the drop-in sessions will feature Street Lab’s signature BUILD NYC program, an installation of interactive building stations with playful materials and challenges that expose people of all ages to diverse works of architecture, design, engineering and construction.

Masks are required, and free masks and hand-sanitizer will be provided on-site. Parents are asked to not leave their children unattended. Attendance will be first come, first served throughout the afternoon.

Street Lab cultural programs are supported in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and citywide by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. With additional support from Con Edison Arts Al Fresco.
