2013-2015 Queens Museum Studio Program Exhibition

Participating artists of the 2013-2015 Queens Museum Studio Residency Program Nobutaka Aozaki, Juan Betancurth, Onyedika Chuke, Mike Kenney, Caitlin Keogh, galería perdida, Jewyo Rhii, Bunny Rogers & Filip Olszewski, Caroline Woolard & Lika Volkova, and Brian Zegeer  will display selected artwork  in the Queens Museum’s new galleries.

The second-year artists were selected by a jury that included curator Thomas Lax and artist Anne Chu, as well as Queens Museum staff. The first year were selected by guest curator Regine Basha, who chaired the selection process; artist Daniel Bozhkov; and curator Anthony Huberman, as well as Queens Museum staff from exhibitions, education, and public events departments.

Selected students and alumni from the Social Practice Queens (SPQ) including: Sol Aramendi, Seth Aylmer, Scott Braun, Barrie Cline, Gina Minielli, Nicky Mourino, and Francisco Karmelic. A partnership with Queens College (CUNY) MFA program, SPQ shares a collaborative studio space within the Queens Museum's artist studio program.

Join us for a curatorial walkthrough at 6pm with Queens Museum curator Larissa Harris, Nung-Hsin Hu and various studio program artists.

From 4:30-7:30pm, catch the fee shuttle running loops between under the 7 train stop at Mets-Willets Point and the Museum.
